MEET THE BAND

Kylie — Vocals
A powerhouse vocalist with dynamic range and plenty of flair, Kylie grew up on the Georgia coast and now calls the mountains of Western North Carolina home. A lifelong singer whose musical background ranges from chorus and theater to open-mic stages, she brings influences as diverse as Beyoncé, Amy Winehouse, and Stevie Nicks to Cassette Revival. When she isn’t singing, Kylie enjoys yoga, aerial arts, and time with her cats, Bug and Jasmine.

Matt — Lead Guitar
Matt is a musical multi-tool whose journey began with percussion before expanding to bass and, eventually, lead guitar. His years in concert, marching, and jazz bands gave him a strong rhythmic foundation, while influences ranging from Flea and Les Claypool to Billy Strings, Duane Allman, and Frank Zappa helped shape an eclectic musical style. Matt has also performed with Athens-based alternative rock band Triplicate, alongside several of his Cassette Revival bandmates.

Samuel — Rhythm Guitar
Samuel’s lifelong obsession with music has taken him from his first high-school band to touring as drummer for Atlanta’s The Callous Daoboys and later performing with Athens-based Triplicate. His influences stretch from the classic progressive rock he grew up listening to with his dad—especially Rush—to modern artists including Arctic Monkeys and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. That wide-ranging background brings versatility, energy, and a fresh perspective to Cassette Revival.

Trevor — Drums
Trevor started playing drums in church at age 12 before expanding into marching, jazz, and concert ensembles and eventually forming his first band with longtime bandmate Matt. He later studied in UGA’s Music Business program, where his interests expanded into production and synthesizers. Influenced by artists including Thom Yorke, LCD Soundsystem, and Daft Punk, Trevor went on to form Triplicate with Samuel and Matt, writing and recording drums, synth, and vocals. These days, his approach to music is simple: keep creating—and make sure it’s fun.

Sean — Bass
Sean brings a lifelong love of the music of the ’70s and ’80s to Cassette Revival, shaped by artists including Rush, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Boston, Foreigner, Billy Joel, Eagles, and The Police. A longtime trombone player with influences ranging from classic rock to jazz and fusion, Sean has performed in bands for decades and once toured Europe with the United States Collegiate Wind Band. Today, he brings those influences together on bass, helping anchor the sound at the heart of Cassette Revival.
